Ridgefield Animal Hospital has a great resource of doctors with many years experience to care for your family pet be it dog, cat, horse or other pet. Ridgefield is also open late two days a week and half a day on Saturday for working pet parents. Ridgefield has the knowledge and experience to perform delicate surgeries such as hip dysplasia. My own Collie, Rasta, had his hip dysplasia surgery performed at Ridgefield and recovered to 100%! I didn't have to travel out of town and was able to visit him daily while he was still in the hospital. It was very comforting to know we have the local knowledge and expertise to care for these serious illnesses. Another reason I love Ridgefield is because if you have a pet emergency after hours a doctor is always on call to assists you and your pets needs. As a pet owner I find this very comforting to know I can call my "vet" and not have to see strangers in an emergency.
