TITAN

The definition of "Titan" is "a person or thing of enormous size, strength, power, influence." Titan's loving owner, Nicki, would agree Titan earned his name and lived up to it prior to training! Nicki  rescued Titan off the side of the road after he had been dropped off by someone as a young puppy. He had some health problems which she immediately tended to with her vet. She quicky fell in love with this amazing dog yet knew she couldn't keep him at home with her family if he didn't learn some manners, respect and obedience. She and Titan attended classes and were so very successful as the videos show below!

When Titan first came into Nicki's life, (we are personal friends) she told me she doesn't know "why" he showed up when he did. I told her we never know until it's time but I firmly believe with all that I am that a dog comes into our life for a reason; to help us with something, teach us something, give us something. I believe each dog has it's own purpose in every person's life.

Two short months after we finished this class, Nicki has to say a heartbreaking goodbye to her beloved dog, Lucie who was very ill.  Those of us who have lost a beloved pet understand the heartbreak Nicki felt. Lucie was a member of the family as she wanted Titan to be. A few weeks after Lucie's passing, Nicki said to me "now I know why God sent me Titan. He knew Lucie's days would soon be over and he wanted me to have another friend in my life."  Dogs are animals, yes, but they also have feelings and emotions. They love and hurt. They comfort and care! Congratulations Nicki and Titan! You are both STARS in my book!!! I'm so proud of you both and I love you!
