"ROCKY LEAVE ME SOMETHING TO SIT ON BUDDY!" -- Bobby St. Pierre
An unexpected and favorite part of being a dog trainer is the most awesome people I meet and work with to help train and rehabilitate their dog. I worked with HOPE for Animals during my certification training and it's a special honor and privilege to train with a dog and owners who adopted from HOPE. Below is the story of Rocky told by his new family--Bobby and Julie of Lafourche Parish.  They loved Rocky and despite his bad behavior and chewing up the house --YEA REALLY!--they loved him and were not about to return him back to the rescue. Their story is one of love, devotion, humor and down right honest truth! I laugh every time I hear Bobby say "I told Rocky hey buddy leave me something to sit on when I get home because he was chewing up the house!" While we can laugh and it surely wasn't funny for Bobby and Julie, their love and devotion for Rocky is so inspiring! Yes you CAN LOVE YOUR DOG AND TRAIN YOUR DOG! Listen to Julie & Bobby below how they turned Rocky around in
2 short months!  (a 7 week class!)  WAY TO GO JULIE AND BOBBY!!! YOU INSPIRE ME! THANK YOU!
Listen to the love in Julie's voice when she says "the first time we saw him in that kennel we knew he was ours."  Love it!
